Abstract:
This light guide comprises: a coupling structure (32) that has a light reception surface for receiving light from a display element (10); and a light guide plate (30) that has a light reception portion (30B) for receiving light from the coupling structure, wherein the light guide plate (30) is provided with a plurality of reflection portions (34A) that are arranged so to reflect light entering through the light reception portion (30B) and propagating mainly in a first direction inside the light guide plate, the light guide plate being arranged to emit the light reflected from the plurality of reflection portions through the emission surface thereof. Each of the plurality of reflection portions includes a reflection surface inclined with respect to the emission surface. The area ratios of the inclined reflection surface per unit area when viewed from the direction normal to the emission surface are different in accordance with the distance from the light reception portion.
