Abstract:
A lever-type connector 10 of the present disclosure comprises: a housing 20; a lever 40 rotatably mounted to the housing 20; and a cover 30 mounted to the back side of the housing 20. The lever 40 is rotatable between a mating start position and a mating complete position. When the lever 40 is moved from the mating start position to the mating complete position, the connector mates with an opposing connector 50. When the lever 40 is moved from the mating complete position to the mating start position, the connector disengages form the opposing connector 50. The cover 30 comprises a first receiver 36A that prevents the lever 40 in the mating start position from erroneously rotating away from the mating complete position, and a second receiver 36B that prevents the lever 40 in the mating complete position from erroneously rotating away from the mating start position. The first receiver 36A and the second receiver 36B are composed of a single rib 36.
