Abstract:
A left-right wheel driving device (10) is provided with two motors (1, 2) that drive left and right wheels, and a gear mechanism (3) that amplifies and transmits, to the left and right wheels, a torque difference between the two motors (1, 2), with respective axles (1A, 2A) of the two motors (1, 2) being concentrically disposed. The left-right wheel driving device (10) comprises: motor shafts (11) which are positioned concentrically with the axles (1A, 2A) and between the axles (1A, 2A), and on which motor gears (21) are interposed; counter shafts (12) that are disposed parallel to the motor shafts (11), and on which first intermediate gears (22) that engage with the motor gears (21) and second intermediate gears (23) having a smaller diameter than the first intermediate gears are interposed; and output shafts (13) which are disposed parallel to the motor shafts (11), and on which output gears (24) that engage with the second intermediate gears (23) are interposed. The gear mechanism (3) is disposed at the first end side of each of the output shafts (13), and one of the left and right wheels is disposed on the second end side of each of the output shafts.
