Abstract:
Provided is a lean vehicle that, when the lean vehicle provided with a multilevel automatic transmission machine turns in an inclined state, enables further increase of attitude controllability of the lean vehicle during turning. A vehicle (1), which is the lean vehicle, is provided with: an engine (11) that supplies driving force to a front wheel (3) and/or a rear wheel (4); a gear-type multilevel automatic transmission machine (12) that switches between a plurality of gearshift levels automatically and stepwisely; an inclination detection unit (61) that detects the lean angular speed of a vehicle body (2); a throttle grip (9); and a control device (7) that controls switching between the plurality of gearshift levels in the multilevel automatic transmission machine (12) and controls output of the engine (11) in accordance with input operation with respect to the throttle grip (9). On the basis of a vehicle state in which the vehicle (1) is predicted to change from the state of being inclined to the left to the state of being inclined to the right through the state where the lean angle is 0 degrees or a vehicle state in which the vehicle (1) is predicted to change from the state of being inclined to the right to the state of being inclined to the left through the state where the lean angle is 0 degrees, the control device (7) retains the gearshift level in the multilevel automatic transmission machine (12) and changes output of the engine (11) in accordance with an operation amount of the throttle grip (9).
