Title:
LAYER MODULE AND MULTILAYER FILTRATION TOWER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/093011
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of enabling a multilayer filtration tower to be provided in which a plurality of filtration layers are formed from different filtration particles, and which exhibits a high degree of freedom in the selection of the filtration particles. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a layer module which forms a multilayer filtration tower is provided with a filtration column for accommodating filtration particles. The filtration column is provided with a cylindrical side frame disposed substantially coaxially inside the multilayer filtration tower, and a porous bottom body which covers the lower surface side of the side frame. The filtration column is preferably further provided with a porous lid body formed so as to be capable of engaging with the side frame so as to cover the upper surface side of the side frame. Filtration particles to be accommodated inside the filtration column are preferably further provided. The porous bottom body is preferably fastened by folding an outer edge section to the side surface of the side frame, and winding a belt therearound from the top. A cylindrical external column, which forms a section of the outer wall of the multi-layer filtration tower and which has the filtration column disposed therein, is preferably further provided.
