Disclosed in the present application is a language setting method for an electric appliance. The method comprises: acquiring a first language that is currently used by an application program which is bound with an electric appliance; and adjusting a language setting parameter of the electric appliance according to the first language, so that the electric appliance outputs target information in the first language. Further disclosed in the present application are an Internet of Things server, an electric appliance and a computer-readable storage medium. The present application aims to improve the degree of matching between a language used by an electric appliance to output information and an actual requirement of a user, so as to improve the user experience.
