Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a knitted product which uses natural fiber yarn and/or synthetic fiber yarn, and in which elongation and contraction of ground yarn can be effectively inhibited without using a large-scale thermal treatment device; and a production method for the knitted product. [Solution] According to the present invention, thermal fusion bonding yarn that melts at 105°C or lower is fusion-bonded to all or a portion of ground yarn that is natural fiber yarn and/or synthetic fiber yarn. A knitted product, in which the thermal fusion bonding yarn is not melted, is efficiently produced by forming using a flat knitting machine while knitting the thermal fusion bonding yarn into all or a portion of the ground yarn. Since the thermal fusion bonding yarn melts at 105°C or lower, the thermal fusion bonding yarn can be melted by an electric steam iron so as to be fusion-bonded to the ground yarn, without using a large-scale thermal treatment device. Since the thermal fusion bonding yarn is fusion-bonded to the ground yarn of the knitted product, elongation and contraction of the ground yarn can be inhibited.
