Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a conveyance mechanism of an item vending machine, said conveyance mechanism allowing easy linking of a drive part and a conveyance unit. [Solution] A conveyance mechanism 55 of an item vending machine, comprising: a drive part 60 that is provided to a rear section of a shelf housing items, and performs driving on the basis of vending instructions; and a belt conveyor unit 57 that is provided in front of the drive part 60, has the items mounted thereon lined up in the front/rear direction, and is driven by the drive part 60 to convey the items forward in sequence, wherein a gear shaft 63 that is an output shaft of the drive part 60 and a first gear shaft that is an input shaft of the belt conveyor unit 57 are removably linked, and the conveyor unit 57 is structured so as to be able to be exchanged with regard to the drive part 60. The belt conveyor unit 57 comprises a belt conveyor 71 that moves the items forward, a spur gear 76b that transmits, to the belt conveyor 71, a driving force transmitted from the input shaft, and a cover 77 covering gears such as the spur gear 76b. A portion of the spur gear 76b is exposed to the exterior of the cover 77.
