Abstract:
This irreversible mechanism (1) is provided with a rotatable input shaft (3), an output shaft (4) that rotates along with the input shaft, a conversion mechanism (5) for converting back drive torque from the output shaft side to axial force, a brake part (6) having a first brake surface (61), and a second brake surface (56) provided so as to rotate integrally with the output shaft, the second brake surface being pressed against the first brake surface in accordance with the axial force of the conversion mechanism. The first brake surface and the second brake surface comprise tapered surfaces that taper along the direction in which the axial force of the conversion mechanism acts.
