Abstract:

The present application relates to an iron-aluminum alloy composite reinforced aluminum-based material, a preparation method therefor and an application thereof. The material comprises an aluminum-based alloy layer, an Fe3Al alloy layer metallurgically bonded to the aluminum-based alloy layer, and an FeAl alloy layer metallurgically bonded to the Fe3Al alloy layer. The Fe3Al alloy layer consists primarily of an Fe3Al phase and a ZRB2 phase, and the FeAl alloy layer consists primarily of a FeAl phase, a B phase and an Al2O3 phase. The iron-aluminum alloy composite reinforced aluminum-based material features the excellent high-temperature mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and wear resistance of iron-aluminum intermetallic compounds, and at the same time, also retains the advantages of aluminum-based alloys such as high thermal conductivity and light weight. The material is used as a high-speed rail transportation brake disc material, being able to greatly reduce production costs on the one hand, and markedly improve the use temperature and service life of brake discs on the other.
