Abstract:
A gear device (1, 1A, 1B) capable of easily stabilizing the meshing of inner teeth (21) and outer teeth (31), and a joint device (200) for a robot. The gear device (1, 1A, 1B) comprises an internal gear (2), an annular external gear (3, 3A, 3B), and a deflection generator (40, 40A, 40B). The external gear (3, 3A, 3B) is provided with the outer teeth (31) and is arranged on the inner side of the internal gear (2). The deflection generator (40, 40A, 40B) is provided with a non-circular cam (41) driven to rotate by using a rotating axis (Ax1) as a center, and a bearing (42) assembled on the outer side of the cam (41). The deflection generator (40, 40A, 40B) is arranged on the inner side of the external gear (3, 3A, 3B) and enables the external gear (3, 3A, 3B) to produce deflection. The gear device (1, 1A, 1B) enables the external gear (3, 3A, 3B) to be deformed along with the rotation of the cam (41), and enables part of the outer teeth (31) to be meshed with part of the inner teeth (21), so that the external gear (3, 3A, 3B) rotates relative to the internal gear (2) according to the difference between the number of teeth of the external gear (3, 3A, 3B) and the number of teeth of the internal gear (2). In a simultaneous meshing range (Ra1) covering more than 180 degrees of the circumference of the internal gear (2), the inner teeth (21) are meshed with the outer teeth (31).
