Abstract:
Provided is an internal combustion engine control device which controls an internal combustion engine comprising a fuel injection device that injects fuel, wherein the internal combustion engine control device comprises: a combustion speed detection unit which detects a combustion speed in a cylinder; an unburned fuel level estimation unit which uses the combustion speed to estimate the level of unburned fuel in the cylinder; an allowable value setting unit which sets an allowable value of the level of unburned fuel; and an unburned fuel level adjustment unit which controls the internal combustion engine to make the level of unburned fuel, which is estimated by the unburned fuel level estimation unit, be equal to or smaller than the allowable value.
