Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the technical field of ferrous metallurgy. Disclosed is an intermediate-frequency furnace-LF furnace-VD process for smelting high-speed steel. In the present invention, the process comprises: firstly, melting a steel material in an intermediate-frequency furnace, smelting same until the steel material is melted down, adjusting chemical components, then deoxidizing and slagging same, and performing power supply, heating and tapping; feeding the resulting molten steel into an LF furnace for smelting, heating same to 1470-1510ºC, and then adjusting the chemical components; and finally, feeding same into a VD furnace for a vacuum treatment, and performing tapping after the components meet standards. In the present invention, the process of slagging in the intermediate-frequency furnace is used, the rough adjustment of the chemical components, preliminary deoxidation and slagging are conducted in the intermediate-frequency furnace, and the tapping temperature of the intermediate-frequency furnace can be controlled within 1550ºC; rapid heating and slag adjustment can be conducted after the molten steel reaches the LF furnace, such that the LF smelting time is shortened, and the smelting quality can also be guaranteed; and the oxygen content of the molten steel which has been subjected to a VD vacuum treatment can be controlled within 10 ppm. The process of the present invention greatly reduces the oxygen content and the smelting time, and improves the production efficiency and the tapping quality.
