Abstract:
Disclosed are an integrated magnetic assembly and a magnetic core assembly. The integrated magnetic assembly includes a transformer and an inductor, which share a common magnetic core assembly having first, second and third columns. Primary and secondary windings of the transformer are separated into a first part of the primary and secondary windings and a second part of the primary and secondary windings, the first part of the primary and secondary windings and the second part of the primary and secondary windings are wound around the first column and the second column, respectively, and, a winding of the inductor is wound around the third column. The first, second and third columns are arranged from one another in a substantial triangle arrangement such that the transformer is uncoupled to the inductor.
