Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an input device including a film-type force sensor and a load detection method for the same that make it possible to acquire an updated baseline value at an appropriate point in time, and thus to perform accurate load detection. [Solution] An input device according to the present invention comprises a film-type force sensor and a control circuit. The control circuit includes a measurement data acquisition unit, a moving average data calculation unit, a load data calculation unit, a load data correction unit, a standard deviation value calculation unit, a determination unit, a baseline updating unit, and a storage unit. The determination unit determines that there is no load on the film-type force sensor when the standard deviation value is less than or equal to a threshold value. The baseline updating unit updates the baseline value by replacing the baseline value with a value of load data at the time when the determination unit determines that there is no load on the film-type force sensor.
