An input device comprising: a housing that has an opening on one side thereof in a first direction; a panel that has at least a portion thereof exposed from the opening, and has an operation surface on which a touch operation is performed and to which a press operation toward the other side in the first direction is performed; a holder member that is disposed in the housing, that supports the panel, and that performs reciprocating movement in the first direction together with the panel when the press operation is performed to the panel; a substrate that is disposed in the housing; a sensor unit that is provided in the panel, and that detects the touch operation; a press detection unit that is provided to the substrate, and that detects the press operation; and a connector which is provided to the substrate, and to which a signal cable from the sensor unit is connected, wherein the holder member has a temporary holding section that holds the substrate against the holder member in a state of being relatively movable at least in the first direction, and the housing has a stopper section that abuts the substrate held by the temporary holding section from the other side in the first direction.
