Abstract:
With a view to reducing arithmetic processing load when detecting a malfunction of a timing belt, this injection molding machine 1 is provided with: a timing belt 85 which is installed around a drive-side rotary member 91 and a driven-side rotary member 101 so as to transmit motive power from the drive-side rotary member 91 to the driven-side rotary member 101; a drive-side rotation detection unit 95 for detecting the rotation speed of the drive-side rotary member 91; a driven-side rotation detection unit 105 for detecting the rotation speed of the driven-side rotary member 101; and a malfunction detection unit 201 for detecting a malfunction of the timing belt 85 on the basis of a relative speed difference between the rotation speed of the drive-side rotary member 91 detected by the drive-side rotation detection unit 95 and the rotation speed of the driven-side rotary member 101 detected by the driven-side rotation detection unit 105, in a predetermined period after rotation of the drive-side rotary member 91 has started from a stopped state.
