Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application disclose an information reporting method and an apparatus thereof. The method comprises: sending measurement configuration information to a terminal device, the measurement configuration information being used for indicating to the terminal device a candidate TRP on which channel quality measurement is to be performed; sending a reference signal of the candidate TRP to the terminal device, the reference signal being used for the terminal device to measure the candidate TRP; and receiving a recommended CP length and/or a recommended TRP sent by the terminal device, the recommended CP length and/or the recommended TRP being determined by the terminal device according to a measurement result in respect of the candidate TRP. In the embodiments of the present application, the terminal device can measure the signal quality of the candidate TRP on the basis of the measurement configuration information and the reference signal of the candidate TRP, and determine a proper CP length and a proper TRP on the basis of the measurement result, and the proper CP length can ensure that the multipath delay of the selected TRP is covered. Moreover, the proper TRP can make the signal quality of the terminal device better, and the stability of communication between a network device and the terminal device can be improved.
