An information processing method for optimizing a plurality of control parameters, wherein equipment performs a plurality of operations on the basis of the plurality of control parameters, and wherein, in a control parameter optimization process, an information processing device: selects a representative operation including at least one operation among all operations that can be performed by the equipment; causes the equipment to perform the selected representative operation; acquires measurement data relating to the operation of the equipment as measured during the execution of the representative operation; calculates an evaluation value of a prescribed evaluation index on the basis of the acquired measurement data; and updates the control parameters on the basis of the calculated evaluation value. The control parameter optimization process is performed a plurality of times while changing the evaluation criteria for the control parameter optimization process.
