Abstract:
Provided are an induction heating roller and a spun yarn take-up machine that suppress the flow of an eddy current in an electrically conductive heat equalizing body, and can efficiently heat a roller surface. A cylindrical heat equalizing body 36 that is formed from a material having electrical conductivity and a higher thermal conductivity than at least an inner circumferential surface of an outer cylinder section 33 is positioned so as to be in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the outer cylinder section 33. At least one non-continuous region 40 that extends in a direction intersecting a circumferential direction is provided in the circumferential direction of the outer cylinder section 33, and causes the heat equalizing body 36 to be non-continuous in the circumferential direction.
