Abstract:
An indoor positioning method and device based on inertial data and wireless signal data are disclosed. According to one aspect of the present invention, provided are a positioning device and a control method therefor, the method comprising the steps of: measuring pieces of inertial data by using an inertial measurement unit (IMU); measuring pieces of wireless signal data through communication with a plurality of access points (APs); calculating system noise covariance on the basis of the pieces of inertial data; calculating measurement noise covariance on the basis of the pieces of wireless signal data; and predicting the current position of a terminal by using Kalman filtering in which the system noise covariance and the measurement noise covariance are applied.
