Abstract:
The present invention relates to an in-wheel motor type vehicle having, in a vehicle wheel, a motor, which is a power source, wherein the wheel comprises: a wheel for supporting a tire and a vehicle weight and transmitting power; spokes, which are parts for connecting a hub and a disc of the wheel with a rim in contact with the tire; a transmission shaft and a hub bearing, which support the rotational force of the wheel; and a motor case part for storing and supporting the transmission shaft and the hub bearing. Provided is an in-wheel hexa motor system in which the motor case part has external compound gear trains in which six driving motors (hexa motors) and driving gears and one driven gear having the outside in contact with the six driving motors are arranged in a hexagonal radial shape, and thus the plurality of motors increase the combined force of the driving vectors of the transmission shaft by means of cooperative-driving-type torque vectoring for each mode such as start, acceleration, constant speed, deceleration, and stop through the simultaneous driving of the seven gears. In addition, vibration-isolating measures and a cooling method, according to the present invention, are provided.
