Abstract:
In this present invention, each impact-absorbing member (4) has an opened cross-sectional shape opening towards one side in the vehicle width direction, each impact-absorbing member (4) being provided with: an upper wall (41); a lower wall (42); a side wall (43) which extends across the upper wall (41) and the lower wall (42); an upper flange (48) which extends upwardly from the upper wall 41; and a lower flange (49) which extends downwardly from the lower wall 42. The side wall (43) is formed with curved portions (43a) to (43c) which are curved so as to protrude in the vehicle width direction. The upper wall (41) and the lower wall (42) are each provided with: a plurality of flat portions (41a), (41c), (42a), (42c) which have tabular shapes, and which are adjacent to each other in the vehicle width direction; and a stepped portion (41b), (42b) which connects the adjacent flat portions (41a), (41c), (42a), (42c) while forming a step in the vertical direction.
