Abstract:
Provided is an image projection device capable of achieving space-saving by effectively using space even if emission light from an image emitting unit is caused to reach a viewpoint by reflecting the emission light by a plurality of free curved surface mirrors. An image projection device comprising: an image emitting unit (10) for emitting emission light including an image; a first free curved surface mirror (20) for reflecting the emission light incident from the image emitting unit (10); and a second free curved surface mirror (30) for reflecting the emission light incident from the first free curved surface mirror (20) to reach a viewpoint (50). Only either an x-axis component or a y-axis component of the emission light reflected by the first free curved surface mirror (20) forms an image between the first free curved surface mirror (20) and the second free curved surface mirror (30).
