This image processing device according to a first aspect comprises: an image processing unit that executes image processing that includes at least one among printing and scanning; a presentation unit that presents first authentication information that can be acquired by a wireless communication terminal; a communication unit that receives, from the wireless communication terminal, an image processing instruction that instructs the execution of the image processing and second authentication information associated with the image processing instruction by wireless communication with the wireless communication unit; and a control unit that performs authentication processing for confirming whether the received second authentication information matches the presented first authentication information. The control unit controls the image processing unit so that the image processing according to the received image processing instruction is executed on the basis of the success of the authentication processing.
