Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an image processing device and method and a program for making it possible to determine the position and shape of a point spread function (PSF) in a projection plane. A small pattern includes a total of 35 dots for lateral 7 dots × longitudinal 5 dots which are all arranged at 14-pixel intervals, the 35 dots being enclosed by a line (outer frame) of a one-pixel width. A plurality of the small patterns are arranged, a test pattern to be projected onto an entire screen is projected from a projector, and the PSF of the projector is determined from an image obtained by capturing the test pattern using a camera. The present disclosure may be applied in a projection image-capture device which projects an image using a projector, captures the image projected by the projector, and calculates the PSF, for example.
