Abstract:
Provided are an image generation method, an image file, and an image generation device with which it is possible to appropriately generate information pertaining to a basic image used for generating a synthesized image. An image generation method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an accepting step for accepting any desired image generation mode from a plurality of image generation modes when generating a synthesized image by synthesizing the plurality of basic images; and a generating step for generating an attendant image as attendant information to the synthesized image, in accordance with the image generation mode accepted in the accepting step and on the basis of at least one of the plurality of basic images.
