Abstract:
Provided is an image forming apparatus capable of discharging gas between a housing and a pressure sensor. An image forming apparatus 1 is provided with a photosensitive drum 4, a development device 7, a transfer device 8, and a spraying device 9. The spraying device 9 sprays a fixing liquid on a sheet S to which a toner has been transferred. The spraying device 9 has a pressure sensor 11, a flow path part 12, and a valve 13. The flow path part 12 is connected to a housing 91. Gas is present in the flow path part 12 between the housing 91 and the pressure sensor 11. The valve 13 enables inflow and outflow of gas that is present between the housing 91 and the pressure sensor 11. The pressure sensor 11 detects pressure in the housing 91 via the flow path part 12.
