Abstract:
The present invention provides an image display device capable of automatically turning the front of a three-dimensional object represented by a three-dimensional image toward a user. This image display device is provided with: a display unit that displays a three-dimensional image in which a three-dimensional object seems to be present in a space partitioned by a member constituting an outer surface so that the three-dimensional image can be visually recognized from a plurality of directions therearound; a direction estimation unit that estimates a direction in which the user is present when viewed from the display unit; and a display control unit that turns the front of the three-dimensional object displayed by the display unit in the direction in which the user is present and which has been estimated by the direction estimation unit.
