Abstract:
A bus-interface/camera-control-interface unit (300) connects a processor and a plurality of imaging units (20A-20F). A control data transmission logic (320) interchanges data between the bus-interface/camera-control-interface unit (300) and the plurality of imaging units (20A-20F). A transmission mask register (310) includes: a write register for specifying imaging units to be selected from among the plurality of imaging units (20A-20F) in order to selectively provide write data for one or more imaging units; and a read register for specifying imaging units to be selected from among the plurality of imaging units (20A-20F) in order to selectively receive read data from one imaging unit. The control data transmission logic (320) can use the transmission mask register (310) to switch between input and output operations.
