Abstract:
Disclosed are an illumination light source (240) and an endoscope. The illumination light source (240) comprises LED chips (242) and a substrate (241). The LED chips (242) are arranged and fixedly connected to the substrate (241), the LED chips (242) and the substrate (241) are encapsulated to form the illumination light source (240), and the illumination light source (240) is annular or arc-shaped. The illumination light source (240) can improve the space utilization rate, more light-emitting elements can be arranged in a certain space, and the light-emitting area is increased, such that a higher illumination brightness can be obtained, and the definition of a photographed image is thus improved.
