Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is an IL-2 mutant, having at least one of the following mutations on an amino acid sequence of IL-2: 1) an insertion of at least one amino acid residue having a smaller side chain between positions T10 and Q11; and 2) an insertion of at least one non-polar amino acid residue between positions P82 and R83. Therefore, the IL-2 mutant is allowed to more selectively activate Treg cells, increasing dose boundaries for autoimmune diseases.
