Abstract:
Provided is a feature for ensuring the airtightness of a combustion chamber. This igniter assembly comprises: an ignition device having an igniter provided with a firing part that hermetically houses an ignition charge and a conductive part that supplies a firing current to fire the ignition charge, a tubular igniter-holding part that surrounds and holds the igniter, and a resin-made fixing member that is interposed between the igniter and the igniter-holding part and that fixes the igniter to the igniter-holding part; a bottomed tubular case that houses a first gas-generating agent and the firing part of the ignitor on one axial side of the igniter-holding part; and a moisture-impermeable dividing wall that divides the interior of the case into a space in which the igniter and the fixing member are disposed and a space in which the first gas-generating agent is housed. The dividing wall is fixed in contact with the case, and the entire periphery of the dividing wall is welded to at least one of the igniter-holding part and the case.
