Abstract:
A hydrogen gas generator according to an embodiment which is equipped with a superheated-vapor heating part and a gas takeout part. In the superheated-vapor heating part, raw water is heated to generate a superheated vapor, and this superheated vapor is further heated to produce Brown gas, which contains hydrogen gas. In the gas takeout part, a mixed fluid comprising the Brown gas and the superheated vapor is subjected to gas-liquid separation, and the Brown gas separated is taken out. The superheated-vapor heating part is equipped with: a heating pipe into which the raw water flows; and a coil heater wound around the heating pipe. The heating pipe includes an oxidation-accelerating member held therein.
