Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a hydrogel containing amorphous carbons. This hydrogel can be used as a hydrogel for eyes. If the hydrogel for eyes takes the form of a contact lens, the amorphous carbons are preferably disposed in an annular shape on the surface, excluding an optical region, and/or inside. If the hydrogel for eyes has an annular shape or a comma shape, the amorphous carbons are preferably disposed uniformly over the entirety of the hydrogel on the surface and/or inside.
