Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to enable air in a closed-circuit oil-hydraulic drive unit to be easily bled. This hydraulic drive unit (1) is provided with a pump (12), a pair of supply and discharge lines (13a, 13b), a valve block (40), a closed tank (17), a suction line (24) which conducts hydraulic oil within the closed tank (17) to the pump (12), a connection line (27) which connects an air bleeder port (12d) of the pump (12) to the suction line (24), and a gas-liquid separator (28) for separating air and hydraulic oil which flow through the connection line (27). The pump (12) is disposed vertically above the valve block (40) and the closed tank (17).
