Abstract:
A hydraulic cylinder 40 according to the present invention is provided with a cylindrical cylinder tube 80 and a piston 100 that is contained inside the cylinder tube. The cylinder tube 80 is provided with: a cylindrical proximal section 80A; a cylindrical intermediate section 80B that is continuous with the proximal section 80A and has an outer diameter smaller than the proximal section 80A; and a cylindrical distal section 80C that is continuous with the intermediate section 80B on the opposite side from the side continuous with the proximal section 80A and has an inner diameter smaller than the intermediate section 80B. The thickness of the intermediate section 80B is smaller than the thicknesses of the proximal section 80A and the distal section 80C.
