The present invention relates to a hydraulic cylinder device and, more particularly, to a hydraulic cylinder device which can prevent an operation delay caused by not obtaining a sufficient hydraulic area for an initial operating pressure during initial operation, and which can prevent noise and shock during instant operation by shaft pressure. To this end, the present invention provides a hydraulic cylinder device comprising: a cylinder body having a hollow formed therein; a rod installed such that the rod can linearly reciprocate in the hollow of the cylinder body; a piston fixed to one end of the rod and disposed to be able to slide while contacting an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder body; and a head cover, which is fixed to one end of the cylinder body, has a central portion that is perforated to enable the linear reciprocation of the rod, and provides a flow passage for a working fluid introduced from the outside and supplied to the piston, wherein the head cover includes a hydraulic part formed on a front end surface contacting the piston, and the hydraulic part is composed of an uneven surface having a relatively wide hydraulic area compared to a flat surface.
