Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a hydraulic actuator with improved durability. This is achieved by a hydraulic actuator (10) characterized by being provided with an actuator main body (100) configured from a cylindrical tube (110) which expands or contracts with hydraulic pressure and a tubular sleeve (120) into which cords (121) oriented in a prescribed direction are woven, wherein, in an unloaded or unpressurized state, the average angle (Θ1) of the cords (121) with respect to the axial direction (DAX) of the actuator is greater than or equal to 20° and less than 45°, and at a hydraulic pressure of 5 MPa, in a state in which the average angle (Θ3) of the cords (121) with respect to the axial direction (DAX) of the actuator is 45°, the ratio (S2/S1) of the total surface area (S2) of the gaps (122) between cords (121) to the surface area (S1) of the outer surface of the actuator main body (100) is less than or equal to 35%.
