Abstract:
A hybrid energy storage system apparatus for the power supply of a battery electric vehicle. The apparatus comprises: a super capacitor (2), a bidirectional DC/DC converter (3), a traction battery (4) and an electric motor (5), which are arranged on a surface of a battery electric vehicle chassis (1), wherein the bidirectional DC/DC converter (3) is detachably mounted, and the traction battery (4) is provided with a damping device. The apparatus utilizes the characteristic of large-current charging and discharging of the super capacitor, and the continuous traveling function of a battery electric vehicle is achieved by means of rapid and convenient small-capacity energy replenishment being performed multiple times, thereby greatly reducing the cost of the whole battery electric vehicle, reducing the weight of the whole vehicle, and improving the energy utilization efficiency.
