Abstract:
This hub unit (1) having a steering function is equipped with: a hub unit main body (2) having a hub bearing (15); a unit support member (3) that is provided on an undercarriage frame component (6), and that supports the hub unit main body (2) so as to be rotatable around a steering axis center extending in the vertical direction; and a steering actuator (5) for driving the hub unit main body (2) so as to rotate around the steering axis center. Steering shaft parts (16b, 16b), both of which protrude in the vertical direction, and the axial center of which serves as the steering axis center, are integrally provided on an outer circumferential surface of an outer ring (19) of the hub bearing (15), and the hub unit main body (2) is rotatably supported on the unit support member (3) through the steering shaft parts (16b, 16b).
