Title:
HOT-WATER-FLOW SACCHARIFICATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/087132
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a hot-water-flow saccharification device (A) that hydrolyzes an organic feedstock (X) in a reaction tube (1) by running hot compressed water therethrough. Said device (A) is provided with: a feedstock hopper (4) that stores the organic feedstock (X); a feedstock supply tube (3) that connects to the reaction tube (1) and holds organic feedstock (X) that falls from the feedstock hopper (4); a feedstock transfer unit (5) that transfers the organic feedstock (X) to the reaction tube (1) by pushing the organic feedstock out of one end of the feedstock supply tube (3) towards the reaction tube (1); a gate valve (2) provided between the feedstock supply tube (3) and the reaction tube (1); a residue discharge unit (6), for discharging a residue (Xa) to the outside, provided on the opposite side of the reaction tube (1) from the feedstock supply tube (3); a hot compressed water supply unit (7) that supplies hot compressed water to one end of the reaction tube (1); and a liquid collection unit (8) that collects the hot compressed water and a hydrolyzed liquid from the other end of the reaction tube (1). The disclosed hot-water-flow saccharification device can be run efficiently and used as an industrial treatment device.
