Abstract:
This hole plug has: a cylindrical outer peripheral wall section inserted into the circular cylindrical section of a flanged hole formed in a mounting member; an annular flange section protruding to the outside of the outer peripheral wall section in a radial direction from the end of the outer peripheral wall section, which is located on the side thereof facing in the direction opposite the insertion direction, and covering the periphery of the flanged hole; a latch section protruding to the outside in the radial direction from the outer peripheral wall section and engaging with the front end of the circular cylinder section; a closure section bridged inside the outer peripheral wall section and closing the flanged hole; and a contact section which is provided to the flange section and/or the outer peripheral wall section, overlaps the peripheral edge of the flanged hole in the insertion direction, and is capable of coming in contact with the peripheral edge.
