Abstract:
This hole plug is provided with: a plug main body having a head, a leg, and a flange; and a meltable member that annularly covers the periphery of an aperture, is disposed between the flange and a panel, melts when heated, and seals between the aperture and the flange. At the periphery of the meltable member is formed an annular convexity that protrudes annularly in the thickness direction of the meltable member and that contacts the tip of the flange when the meltable member has been caused to thermally contract in a manner so as to have a contracted diameter towards the center of the aperture (21).
