Abstract:
When a force acts upward from below on the face plate (34) of a hole plug (14) that is blocking an installation hole (12) of a body panel (10), the face plate (34) is pushed upward and a middle wall (26) is moved upward with respect to an outer circumferential wall (18). The plug is configured so that when same occurs, the outside part (40B) of a contacting part (40) is folded back towards the inside and the inside part (40A) of the contacting part (40) comes in contact with the inner surface of the lower part of the outer circumferential wall (18). As a result, the inside part (40A) of the contacting part (40) is able to limit deformation of the engaging tabs (20) towards the inside.
