Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hoisting machine, and particularly to a hoisting machine used in an elevator. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a hoisting machine in which oil can be kept away from a brake disc irrespective of installation orientation. A hoisting machine (1) comprises a shaft (22) which is positioned along a center shaft and which rotates a sheave (20), a brake disc (31) fixed to the sheave (20), a bearing (41) for rotatably supporting the shaft (22) on one axial side of the sheave (20), a pedestal member (60) for covering the radial outside of the bearing (41) over the entire circumferential periphery thereof, and a lid member (70) which is fixed to the other axial side of the pedestal member (60) and which covers the other axial side of the bearing (41), the lid member (70) having an oil guiding part (90) for guiding oil, which leaks from the other axial side of the bearing (41), in the direction away from the brake disc (31).
