Disclosed are a hinge device (25), a shell (20) of an electronic device, and the electronic device (100). A flexible screen (30) is arranged on the shell (20). The shell (20) comprises frame bodies (21, 23) and the hinge device (25). The hinge device (25) is arranged on the frame bodies (21, 23). The hinge device (25) comprises a first chain link (251), a second chain link (253) hinged to the first chain link (251), and a positioning mechanism (256). The first chain link (251) comprises a first positioning groove (2511) and a second positioning groove (2513); the second chain link (253) is provided with a positioning hole (2532); the positioning mechanism (256) comprises a positioning piece (2561); and a first end of the positioning piece (2561) is connected in the positioning hole (2532). When the hinge device (25) is in an extension state, a second end of the positioning piece (2561) is movably connected in the first positioning groove (2511), and when the hinge device (25) is in a bending state, the second end of the positioning piece (2561) is movably connected in the second positioning groove (2513). The positioning piece enables the hinge device to be stably kept in the extension state or the bending state, so that the positioning effect is good.
