Abstract:
Provided is a preparation method for a high-viscosity self-crosslinking acrylate emulsion, comprising: a) mixing butyl acrylate, methacrylic acid, hydroxyethyl methacrylate, lauryl methacrylate, diacetone acrylamide and dodecyl mercaptan, adding a compounding emulsifier, stirring same until uniform to obtain a mixed solution a, and dissolving an initiator in soft water to obtain an initiator solution; b) mixing soft water, methyl methacrylate, an initiator, a compounding emulsifier and sodium bicarbonate, heating same under stirring, and keeping same at a temperature for obtaining a mixed solution b; and c) dropwise adding the mixed solution a and the initiator solution into the mixed solution b, keeping same at this temperature after addition, then adding ammonia water, stirring same until uniform, cooling, then adding an adipic acid dihydrazide solution, and stirring same to obtain the self-crosslinking acrylate emulsion. The emulsion prepared by the process of the present invention has a relatively high viscosity and better cohesion; and a coating layer, after coating, has a good adhesion to cloth and completely covers the pores of the cloth.
