Heating press rolls used for the continuous method for a double-side conductive polyimide laminate free from defective aesthetic appearance such as vertical wrinkle and having stable quality. The heating press rolls are formed such that at least one of press rolls disposed on the upper and lower sides is pushed out to the other press roll by a hydraulic or gear type gap adjusting mechanism to narrow a gap between these press rolls for press fitting. These pair of heating press rolls comprise surface temperature uniformizing means by heat pipes buried in the near-surface of the press rolls and heating control means for heating from the inside of the rolls which produce different thermal expansions in the center zone sections and both side zone sections of the press rolls.
