Title:
HEAT-SHRINKABLE POLYESTER FILM, HEAT-SHRINKABLE LABEL, AND PACKAGING BODY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/024936
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a heat-shrinkable polyester film having a high heat shrinkage in the main shrinkage direction, exhibiting bag breakage resistance when a bottle is dropped and a high film piercing strength, and having excellent springiness due to a high film density. A heat-shrinkable film: containing 60 to 95 mol% (inclusive) of ethylene terephthalate units in 100 mol% of all ester units; contains 5 to 40 mol% (inclusive) of diethylene glycol in 100 mol% of polyhydric alcohol components; and contains 0 to 5 mol% (inclusive) of constituent units derived from a monomer component that may become an amorphous component relative to all polyester resin components. The film piercing strength, the film density, the refractive index in the film longitudinal direction, and the hot water heat shrinkage when the film is immersed for 10 seconds in hot water of 90°C are within prescribed ranges.
